How’s your January been going? I’ve found it to have gone so fast, yet so slow. A bad fact about being a teenager: now that you’re one, people are going to assume that you’re a phone-obsessed, troublemaking menace who likes the thought of the teenage parties from the movies. Don’t fall for this, you’re better than their stereotypes. From what I’ve looked at through one day in a public school, this stuff’s already happening. (I’m starting tomorrow, I was only doing some being shown around stuff. I’m very nervous lol) Anyways, enough with the unsolicited advice, lol. Just don’t let others determine your worth, they can’t tell the difference between fool’s gold and real gold.
On the topic of school, how’s yours been going? Hopefully not too stressful. At the public school I’m going to, there’s a second ‘midwinter’ break, which is ridiculous. Also a lot of no-school days thrown in for flavor. At this point I’m not learning anything. I hope your school doesn’t do this, but if they do, less homework for you.
I miss you very much and hope you’re having a wonderful time, whatever you’re doing. We opened a lot of storage boxes and you have a lot of things here. I hope you can get them soon. (There’s old toys, books, jewelry, and a big sis and little sis necklaces that we have both the parts of. (Also I got my tintin books!!)) I love you, and I’ll write to you soon.
With love,
Alice
