How’s it going? I’m back in England now — had a short layover in Munich from Spain, but didn’t get to get any kitsch for Mom (too short of a layover). I slept twelve hours when I got back. Finally, some time to sleep in. I suppose I can declassify Spain now: we were in a town called Jerez de la Frontera, which is a little north of Gibraltar. We were working in a crypt beneath the church of San Miguel on bodies between 300 and 400 years old. Here are some pictures!

Speaking of cats, there’s a new cat on campus here.

Since I’ve been back I’ve been mostly doing school-things like grocery shopping and laundry. And sleeping and panicking about what happens after college. Mom told me to stop thinking about it since it was rattling my nerves too hard. We’ll see what happens. I wanna take another gap year anyway. I hope you’re settling into college easy — all I did was cry first semester, but it gets easier. Probably faster for you if you’re at UofO. It’s just across town.
I must go now — I rolled over on my glasses and now they don’t fit right and I have to ask the glasses place to fix them. I miss contacts so dearly (they’re too painful to wear. Curse my life). Also I’ve been watching a show with my roommate/friend called Poirot which is very good. Recommend. I love you so much. I thought to say “I wish you were here”, but rather I wish I was home.
With love,
Alice
