Happy Hanukkah! I flew home yesterday (I’m so tired) so I get to spend the whole holiday at home. We haven’t lit the candles yet and luckily found some at the pharmacy. The plane ride was fine and went well: lady next to me didn’t want the vegan meals her husband ordered so I ate double of everything. It was great at the start and slightly nauseating at the end. Also I wore two coats because I bought too many presents and it didn’t go as bad as I expected (hot hot hot agony).
We haven’t lit the candles yet but dusk feels like the best time to write: the very beginning of the holiday. All I really want to say is I love you and I’m sorry that another holiday has passed like this. You never deserved this. I hope Hanukkah is nice.
With love,
Alice
