Happy New Year’s Eve, Soren!

December 31, 2021 By admin

Guess what? It snowed! The day after Christmas we woke up to snow on the ground. It’s very deep, and has kept snowing for the past few days, but there are no clouds outside today. It’s very idyllic and pretty! Did it snow in Eugene? I hope it did, and if not, I hope it does in the future.

Have you any plans for New Year’s Eve? We do not. The new year is always a sad occasion for me, so I go to bed early. What about you? Do you enjoy the holiday? Usually for me it’s a reminder of how many years have passed since your loss. The coming of the new decade in 2020 was especially painful.

I hope you are having fun and celebrations! Do you stay up, and do you watch the New York New Year’s television thing? I do not. I may go to the zoo this weekend, which will be fun, and maybe count as a celebration? A little bit, at least. If you are sad, I hope you may find some fun, and take comfort that the year is an invented way of organizing time based on how fast the earth goes around the sun. I love you.

With love,

Alice

It’s only down in the living room with me today because I wanna play Deltarune. How are you doing? As the Vashon Film Festival and…

It’s the last day of July now. It went very quickly in my mind. I’ve finished the last of the Jane Austen novels I haven’t read — Mansfield Park and Sense and Sensibility — and read The Haunting of Hill House. All quite good. I think Mansfield Park is my favorite Austen book. I relate…

Achilles is sitting on me so I’m desperately typing with one hand. Pls send help. Anyway I was just thinking that now that I’ve graduated and can no longer get stalked online and murdered on campus that now I can tell you where I actually went to college. It’s called Royal Holloway University of London,…

How’s it going this week? I’ve started work again at camp, so I’m decently tired. It’s going good though: got a free ice cream sandwich today. On Saturday last I tried to make one myself because I was thinking about them: the cookies were too thick, but it was fun anyway. Today I finished my…
