How’s it going? I’m still not used to the website. It’s very weird here. Buttons I am scared to press. This week had only one notable event: I finished my last assignment. Now it’s time for the waiting game. My grades are good enough that I’m guaranteed to graduate, so I’m not worried about that. However, British degrees are graded, and I’m trying to get the highest grade, and I’m not quite sure how it works but I’m just hoping these last assignments are also As like everything else this year. Crossed fingers. Anyway, until then I need to do some touristing before I leave. I’m thinking Oxford and Cambridge at some point. Mom and I will do some other stuff when she’s here so it’s whatever I feel like for now. I was thinking of an event in Whitby last November but that place is a million train hours away. For now, I’ve just been replaying Deltarune. My roommate left and left me all her food so I have a lot of ranch right now. Honestly, the minute I submitted that assignment the concept of time collapsed in on itself and I’m about to completely forget what’s going on most of the time.
I also have to get to a dry cleaners at some point because dear Paris peed on my jacket. Sweet terrible boy. I’m doing that here since I didn’t find out until like a few days before the flight, and getting off-island is a hassle. There’s not one on Vashon. Sigh.
Anyway Soren. Spring is the calmest and the most frantic time for a college student. Calm in that it’s warm and you can drink iced beverages again and when you finish everything you’re basically just hanging out. Frantic in that there’s lots of assignments due. Try to enjoy whatever calm and sun your school will allow you. Best of luck. You’re gonna do fine — I have seen chaotically miserable procrastinators still get things in. Try not do to that though. I love you.
With love,
Alice
